Amateuritis

Here's something I'm still unsure about since getting a devaintArt account:

When you find an artist that you would like to "watch", a window appears in which "friend" is already checked. I'm not sure if this means that by choosing "friend" you will automatically become friends, or the other person must approve this friendship.

Anyway, I've been unchecking the "friend" box out of fear that an artist will be unwillingly sucked into an unwanted friendship with me. Irrational?

Also, in order to be "friends" do you have to both be watching each other?

I guess if only one person is watching the other, that person would be called a stalker.

But where is the "stalker" button located?

I have two friends on here.




That's two more friends than I have in real life!
